Has anyone ever stayed here. We are thinking of going for the 4th of July weekend? Any reviews or pointers?
Thanks
MattHWhen we went to Mrytle Beach 2 years ago, we looked into this campground but decided, for us, it was to much like an amusement park. We opted for another campground, even though are children were younger at the time.
If you go, please write a review! We need more campground reviews!

Which one did you end up going to, and did you like it??? Is it possibly right on the ocean???[&:]
MattHWe ended up at Lakewood. It was December, so o crowds at all. All we had to do is walk up over the hill and there was the beach and ocean.
It was quiet and clean. We felt it was a nice place to stay although we ve heard it isn t as nice during the peak season.
MattHI camped at pirate land last July for a week and loved it. I made reservations for June 15th this year. Love the Lazy river and outside pool. The ocean front sites are really nice. I have stayed at Ocean Lakes and the Koa also. Ive been to the State park and Apache campground. I think pirateland is the best. The truth is they are all nice. It is a 1000 mile trip for us and everbody wants to go back.

We ahve stayed there on a number of Fourth of July weekends. It is a great place and my kids love it. It is hard to get a spot unless you make reservations a year in advance. Tha golf cart parade is also fun. Go and enjoy. Rent a golf cart the kids will love going out to the beach on it to see the fireworks
