We are leaning toward the Dutchman Zephyr because of price and a few extra things, but we ve heard so much more about the Kiwi. Does anyone own the Dutchman brand or know anything about it? Good or bad?
luvtacampWell, we found out that the Dutchman was sold already. [:(] I guess we ll take a harder look at the Kiwi. I like the small 17A. I m just wondering if the dealer is about where he should be on the price. It was the last 17a, 2002 on the lot. The dealer said they were nt going to order anymore 17 s, instead they were getting in 18 s. Anyway the price is around $9,995.
luvtacampHello,
We have a 2000 23B kiwi , which we paid 13,500 fro. The 23 B has a slide. The $9995 price sounds a little on the high side for the 17.

luvtacampThanks Gary for responding! I thought the price was too high also. He has dropped to 9500, but I m thinking it s still too high. I don t know if the dealer is willing to go lower on the price. I don t mind paying that if it s a good deal, but I m just not yet convinced. If anyone else out there owns a Kiwi 17 and you don t mind sharing what you paid for it, please help? Of if anyone has an opinion on this please share[;)]

IT WILL TELL YOU IF YOUR PAYING TO MUCH!
luvtacampWe just priced a 2003 Kiwi 25E for $14,500. We saw the 2003 Kiwi 23B for $12,900.
These were brand new and loaded with options...
Post if you are interested in where we saw these...
luvtacampUnless we get a different tow vechile, we ll stick with one of the smaller trailers. I do like Kiwi s new 18f. Also, I did check the NADA guides. The high end for the 17f was around 8780, that was for a used 2002. This one we re looking at is 2002 but not used. So I m sure the price for it would be a little higher.
Thanks!
luvtacampwell at least now you know the ball park figures!
LoadedCameraI would love to know where you saw the 23B for 12,900 especially since MSRP is $18,000

luvtacampDoes anyone pay MSRP?
We paid $12999 plus tax for our 2003 Kiwi 23B and it s loaded. I think there are only 3 options we deleted from our order..... electric slide, outdoor entertainment center, and water filtration system.
campertimeWe purchased a 2000 brand new and we paid $13,500..below the Msrp of 15,800...Of course 2000 was the first year for the Kiwi...Sounds like you got a great deal
