A great place to camp! It was the site of the inaugural Tennessee PopUp Campers Group (www.tpuc.com). We have camped there two or three times last year, and plan to return sometime soon.
The bathrooms are probably the only drawback. As nice as the cg is, the bathrooms really lack. Some of them are just not up to our standards; in fact, we bypass one to go to another. If you go, look at the bathrooms in each loop before deciding on a site. You can even choose a site on another loop, and drive/walk to another like we do.
The sites are fairly spacious and fairly spaced apart, although some are unlevel. Most are very shaded, though, so it is a good place to go, even in the heat of summer. There are W/E sites, and some with W/E/S available.
The scenery is great. You can drive to the top of the falls and look down. You can also hike down to the bottom of the falls, and actually stand under water falling from 256 feet above. I have done it, and it is COLD and it just about beats you to death. But the hike is fun, but moderately strenuous. You can also hike to the bottom of the creek (or bottom to top), and there are several spectacular views along the way. Take your camera!
There are some bike trails, some nature centers, golf, fishing, and hiking all available. It is one of our favorite places to go. It is a little bit out of the way, but the scenery is worth the drive. Other fairly close attractions include Burgess Falls State Natural Area (http://www.state.tn.us/environment/parks/burgess/ ), which has three spectacular falls to see, although camping is not available there.

brainpauseOh, how the last governor let the Tennessee parks get rundown!! Also pay attention to the electric box s. Not all are 30 amp! Last time we went we got one that was 20 amp. As the temps were real mild, not requiring heat or air I didn t change sites. Most of the sewer sites have at least 30 amp plugs (some have 50), but not all.
brainpauseWe tent camped at Fall Creek Falls several years ago (~8) and I remember the bathrooms were not good then. However, the scenery makes up for it. One needs to be very careful on the hiking trails with children. I wouldn t recommend it for young children; too many cliffs.
