Title: Fridge fan and popping up..two quick questions
Post by: JemJen24 on Sep 28, 2003, 07:05 PM
How many of you use a small fan in your fridge, how long do you leave it running, and is it battery opperated?  What temp. setting do you leave your fridges on?  Ours is on 5 or 6, max is 7 I believe.

 Also...

When popping up, do you put your four stabilizers down FIRST and then pop up or do you pop up and then put them down?  I was told that you should put them down AFTER poping up (something I haven t been doing) to keep the frame from bending.  Your thoughts...

JemJen24It seems I have answered my own question on a fan.  I just bought this one.  Hope I made a wise decision...

JemJen24Yes you should put the stablizers down after poping up and they should be put up before poping down.

JemJen24That is the exact fan I currently use.  It seems to help keep the temperatures even throughout the refrigerator.

The setting I use depends on the outside air temperatureObviously, the warmer it is outside, the cooler I set the refrigerator.

As others have said, stabilizers down after popping up, but before pulling out the bunk ends.  At the end of a trip, push in the bunk ends, raise the stabilizers then lower the roof.
