Just wondering, if anyone has ventured to Ellis Haven Campground in Plymouth Mass? Just looking for the pros and cons on that campground.
BrBornsHi Bruce, I have never been there but I felt bad that no one had responded so I am responding.
Take care
Gary
BrBornsI ve never been there either and from the lack of response, seems no one has!!! SO, I will tell you what " The unofficial Guide to the Best RV and Tent Campgrounds" says: RV Rating 3 stars, tent Rating 2 stars. Description starts " Got teens or pre-teens in your party? You ll win major " props" for bringing them here. Unusuall features at this campground include a huge state of the art arcade and a tournament worthy baseball diamond" To paraphrase the rest of the description, the CG loses points when it comes to esthetics, calling a pond, Stupid Duck Pond, signs every 3 feet- No Fishing, Yellow police tape around thousand frog pond. They go on to say the camping area isn t bad with grassy sites and plenty of tree coverage. Says head to the northwest corner to get away from seasonal & permanent set-ups unless you have a fondness for " lawn art"
Hope this helps. I ve usually found this book to be more open and honest about campgrounds than any other.
