while driving and camping what type of music do you listen to?
dee106None of the above.
Sea Shantys (uh, with cleaned-up lyrics).
They have catchy tunes, simple rhythms, and can be sung acapella or with a cd/tape.

dee106Ok, I ll confess.... I was one of the few that clicked off Heavy Metal!!! And I m probably older than most of you out there (pushing 50) [;)]
Guess too many days as a lighting tech for several rock bands, including a few national acts, pretty much has kept my interest.[8D]
dee106Hey, Cliffie, you aren t older than me. And I claim almost all of the above as my favs. High school days were Detroit Motown sounds and Beach Boys type stuff, then I discovered Bob Dylan and existentialism, after that came some hard rock and psychedelic rock. Then I mellowed out and along came folk, country, blues....yep, I like it all.
dee106wel i love hard rock, love blue grass, love folk and celtic, like jazz and opera...well i pretty much like everything except for rap and too easy listening music...bleh.[8D]
dee106Top 40 s stuff, and classic rock (Eagles, Lynard Skynard, ZZtop, etc.)
dee106You left out a huge category, contemporary Christian! We re considered " too old" to listen to some of it by some people s standards, but we love Third Day, Audio Adrenaline, Newsboys, DC Talk, etc. Praise the Lord, and turn it up!!!![8D]
dee106Voted for oldies, but I like most all types of music. That s what kept me in the DJ business for 7 years.
