Title: Campgrounds on Mississippi Gulf Coast?

 Hi,
 I am looking for campgrounds within walking distance to the beach.
 Any suggestions?

 TawnyaWe ve been looking for the same thing.  A friend of mine visited Dauphin Island a few weeks ago and told me about the CG there (http://dauphinisland.org/camp.htm)  I believe it is within walking distance.
 
 We have decided to stay at Topsail Hill RV Resort east of Destin in June.  I ve heard good things about it.  They are about 1/2 mile from the beach with a walkway and they have a tram that runs to/from the beach six times a day.
 
 You might also consider Gulf Shores SP.  Friends have stayed there and love it.  I haven t tried it yet.
 
 Good luck and let us know if you find other CG s near the Gulf.
