I came across this recipe while surfin the net. I thought I d share it with all of you.
BOOGER GOOLASH
12 nicely compacted " boogies" (the green ones are the best; but you can use the brown & yellow ones as well; this is totally a personal preference thing)
1 can condensed milk
3/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup sour cream
1 lb. beef steak cut into strips
12 freshly soaked tissues
12 oz. package of egg noodles (the no-yolk variety as " boogies" are very high in cholesterol already)
Water
Salt & Pepper (to taste)
Parsley (optional; for presentation)
Preparation and Cooking: First extract " boogies" from the source and wrap each one in a damp tissue; set aside. Next sear the beef with the onion in a frying pan. Transfer this to a casserole dish with the boogies and remaining ingredients adding enough water to cover.
Let bake in a 375øF preheated oven for 50 minutes. Add salt & pepper to taste before serving and parsley for the presentation if you d like. This makes about 4-5 servings
