Clear as mud? Thought so [:)]
Enjoy!
WayfarerThanks for all the pics!!! I was estatic to see the one s of Palo Duro State Park. I ll be scheduling a trip there this year. Thinking perhaps for Labor Day. I see you had the pop up there. How did the AC hold up and what where day/night temps??? Did you go in September?
WayfarerGlad you enjoyed the pics. Yes, the AC in the PU held up just fine. We went in September. Don t remember exact temps but was in upper 90 s during the day but due to the high altitude and lack of humidity was not bad at all. Evenings were pleasant, just a tad on the cool side which was nice. One evening we went to a bar-b-que and show (Sons of Texas or something - western singers) at the amphitheater and took a light jacket but left it in the car as the temp outside was just right for short sleeves. The bar-b-que was not real " serious" bar-b-que and the singing was fair to middling. Overall we enjoyed the evening. Would probably not go to the BBQ dinner again as the line was very long and the food not really worth the hassle. It was a great trip. You will enjoy it. Great scenery, etc. Have fun!
This thread got all screwed up somehow - original post in #3 slot, html code messed up, etc., etc. Anywhooo, the above post was the original and lists the campgrounds covered.
Enjoy (if you can figure it out)...
