Title: Spicy Sausage & Cheese Scrambled Eggs
Post by: TheWallRocks on Sep 28, 2003, 07:05 PM
For kids (3, 5, 9, 11) that hate spicy food, they absolutely love these eggs and ask for them eveytime we go camping..... and even at home, like this morning.

4 kids and 2 adults will eat all this.....

 12 eggs
1 pkg Jimmy Dean HOT ground sausage
 4-5 slices Kraft cheese

 Cook and drain the sausage.
 Scramble the eggs.
When the eggs are almost done (still a little wet) add the ground sausage.
Stir it up and add the cheese until melted and mixed together well.

We re suprised how much the kids like it..... it s pretty zippy!  We love it too!  Lots of times we ll cook the sausage before camping so it s all ready to go when we need it.  Sometimes we ll throw in a little chopped red onion for the adults..... adds a nice flavor, but the kids truly do hate onions!

TheWallRockswe have something like this almost ever time we go camping! try adding hash browns to it, mmm. or use diced bacon instead of the sausage, ya got a winner there!
