Title: Camp Kitchen, on a different note!
Post by: SuZone on Sep 28, 2003, 07:05 PM
After getting some good ideas on a free standing outside camp kitchen, I started to think, " wouldn t it be a great idea if your popup stove AND sink could be moved outside and mounted on the side of the popup, under the awning?"   So, anyone know of any popups with this feature?  Now granted, if there is such a model, I won t be going out and buying a new popup[:o], but I would suggest that model to future popup buyers![:D]

SuZoneJayco recently had an " In and Out"  type kitchen, but I think that model was discontinued a couple of years ago (not sure, though). We saw one at a dealer, and I actually thought it was pretty cool. It went through the wall of the camper.

SuZoneRockwood mades a PU that has a stove - sink combo that slides through an opening in the side and becomes an outside unit. The stove can be spun around once outside to make it more accessible.

My 1974 Starcraft Swinger got it s name from the swing-out kitchen, sink & stove located on the front right corner of the trailer could be used inside, or unlock the door, and swing the whole thing outside!

It s not a new idea, and by the look of the Rockwood Premier it s not forgotten either! [;)]
