Ok, just got an email that the next IRV2 (heyyy, can I say that on this website..LOL) rally is going to be held here in Texas in June 2004. Here s my dilema.....are there actually a lot of pop-uppers that attend this national rally or is it mostly big rigs? Am I gonna feel like an ant amongst all those huge RVs?
Jen
JemJen24I would be willing to bet the farm that it is mostly big rigs, or at least TT s and fivers.

JemJen24I ll throw my 40 aces in with Brainpause, and raise ya 20.
JemJen24As one of their moderators I ll not hold back, you ll be among the minority in that group. You wouldn t however, be the only one there. Another of their Moderators (Kablewizard) has a Coleman PU, and a few other PU people that attended this years rally in Nashville.
I would t worry about it too much, most of them seem to be very nice folks, and with the possible exception of a few " Sticks in the mud" I don t think anyone would think anything less of you for being in a PU!!!
JemJen24Thanks for the info. Think I ll wait until we have a hard side and stick to my NTPUCA meetings for now.
Jen :)
PS...does Pop Up Times ever have a rally???
JemJen24I m glad Cliff chimed in. I didn t mean to imply they would be sticks in the mud. Just that PU s would be in the minority. [:)]

Yes, PUT hosted a Rally in Pennsylvania (Eagle Creek ?) last year. Also, if you look at the rally forums, Dave (and sometimes family and/or Charlie, the publisher) try to attend any they can get to. So, unofficially, they are PUT rallies, as most of those attending are PUT ers.

JemJen24Jen, we just need to get a NTPUCA trip going that week, meet up with SETPUCC our sister club, and darned if there wouldn t be a good showing for the rally of pop-ups. Circle the wagons boys, the popups are a comin . [8D]

QuoteA bit intimidating
Forgive me, Jen and please take the following as the compliment it s intended to be. I know we haven t met in person but you do not strike me as the type who would easily be intimidated. I know I could be wrong but it just doesn t fit.
