birolYes Tim,I agree. While camping last week I ran across an old Fleetwood folding trailer that did not have a Coleman label on it. It was old but looked just like my Utah.

QuoteColeman Reaffirms Termination of Fleetwood License
Tuesday July 22, 4:17 pm ET
Court Document Offered to Support Company s Position That Fleetwood Has No Right to Continue Using Coleman Brand on RV Products

WICHITA, Kan., July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- The Coleman Company, Inc. said today that it stands by its announcement Monday that its licensing agreement with Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: FLE - News) has been terminated, and disagrees with Fleetwood s position expressed in a company press release late Monday. Further, Coleman reaffirmed its contention that the District Court in the Eighteenth Judicial District, Sedgwick County, Kansas has ruled that Fleetwood has no right to continue using the Coleman brand.
Coleman said it is confident it did not present the court s ruling out of context and offers the court document to interested parties so they may read the judge s findings and conclusions of law. (To obtain a copy of the court order, contact Clare O Connell at 212-484-7728).

Coleman found it necessary to terminate its license with Fleetwood due to numerous performance issues in breach of the licensing agreement. Coleman made it clear once again that it remains committed to the RV industry and is currently seeking a new licensee to manufacture, distribute and sell recreational vehicles, folding camping trailers and related accessories under the Coleman brand name.

The Coleman Company, Inc., manufactures and distributes products for camping, backpacking, tailgating, backyard grilling and other outdoor leisure- time activities. Its products are distributed in the United States, Canada and more than 100 countries worldwide. Coleman, doing business for more than 100 years, is based in Wichita, Kan., and is a subsidiary of American Household, Inc.

birolColeman terminates agreement with Fleetwood Enterprise
 David Dinell
The Coleman Co. has terminated its licensing agreement with Fleetwood Enterprises Inc.

Under that licensing agreement, Fleetwood manufactured, distributed and sold a Coleman-branded line of folding camping trailers and related parts and accessories.

Coleman officials say they found it necessary to terminate its license with Fleetwood because of " numerous performance issues."

Fleetwood sued Coleman in an attempt to preserve its license.

In response, Coleman counter-sued Fleetwood for breach of contract and trademark infringement.

 Coleman won the legal battle.

Fleetwood officials were not available for comment.
