Post by: angelsmom10 on Sep 28, 2003, 07:05 PM
A while ago, someone (maybe me) posted an fan that you put on your cooler to use as an a/c.  Anyone remember and have the info?

angelsmom10I saw a kit to convert a cooler into an " air conditioner"  on ebay.  It has been a while since I found it.  I think I was serching under " rv air conditioner" .

Looks like a neet idea.  You could use any inexpensive cooler since the added insulation would not be needed.  Since we purchased an Extreme Coleman cooler, we & probally alot of others have an unused cooler around.

Let us know what you find.[:)]

vjm1639This is not the exact one I saw - but is the same principle.

The one I saw, actually sat on top of the cooler and I thought it ran off electric also.

Just not sure, the memory is just not the same[:@][:@][:@][:@]

angelsmom10I guess it s along the same lines of blowing into an ice-cold drink when you re hot to cool your face off.  Pretty neat idea!
