 The kids are back to school and fall is just around the corner! cool weather camping is the best!!

 jpreiserYep!  Even here in Texas, things are cooling down.  Nearly left this morning for 2 days of camping but life (read; " doo-doo" [;)]) conspired to thwart me[:@]!  With a little luck, we ll get out for two days next week, assuming the temps don t decide to jump again.

 jpreiserLast weekend we had one really cool night to sleep.  This weekend it looks like we will have 2 cool nights.  I love camping in the fall.[:D]

You don t ! You like being able to camp only , and I confess, cooler weather is easier to sleep in ...

 jpreiserI can t wait for cooler weather and it sounds like " maybe"  we might get a little this weekend!  I m tired of the three H s...hazy, hot, and humid

 jpreiserThe cooler temps are scheduled to arrive here this afternoon and I can t wait. The LSU Tigers are playing out in Arizona this weekend, so I may have to plan a quick getaway for this weekend.

 jpreiserYes, with a little luck cool fall camping will be here soon.  I just love sitting around the campfire on a cool evening.
 
 For those who havn t ever tried it, a pie iron is a wonderful invention.  Use crescent rolls for the sides and your filling of choice (I like cherry) and you have a great warm desert.  This is one of the times I violate my Adkins lifestyle[:D]
