What month do you normally stop camping for the season?
tlhdocHere in Southeastern Pennsylvania:
Usually, our last trip is a Halloween weekend somewhere. This year will be at Eagle s Peak in Robesonia, PA. We have had some WONDERFUL weekends in November that I wish we would have camped, but DH can t camp in November on principle -- no matter how nice the weather might be. [;)]
tlhdocWe re all year long, Lucky Us ( smiley face)
tlhdocWe ll have to winterize the PU probably around mid November...but we will still camp any months the weather isn t terribly bad. :> Never had running water in my tent, so that s not a big deal.
tlhdocUsually the end of October/ beginning of November, most of the places here in the North East close by then......[:(]
tlhdocWe slow down our camping in June and start camping again in earnest come September. YEAH---it s September. Thirteen days until Lake Tahoe Rally.

tlhdocWe camp year round here on the Central Coast of California.
tlhdocI enjoy camping all year long here in North Carolina. Last year, my son & I camped in 22degree temps & stayed warm in our pop-up. We use a Mr. Heater & it does a good job. For the summer, we head to the mountians!
tlhdocDepending on what all we have to do to winterize. We have roller coaster winters and it time and weather permit, I d camp anytime. But if we have to do alot of winterizing, it really won t be worth resetting up the camper and winterizing again.
tlhdocI m out of vacation time this year, so our season ends in October.[:@]
tlhdocIt used to be October, but the weather down here along the coast is very mild right into December. Our last trip out this year is scheduled for mid November...
tlhdocHere in California, the land of milk, honey and gubernatorial embarassment, at least we can camp year-round. Yeah baby! [8D]
tlhdocWe camp through Thanksgiving. Start back in January or February, usually MLK day as it is a 3 day week end. The only month that we don t camp in is December. Just to many other things going on during the Christmas season.
tlhdocWe are very lucky here in So. California. We are on the coast and can camp year round. We usually only get rain from December to May and thats if we are lucky.

tlhdocStart of camping season for us is Spring Break in March and the end is Fall Break in October. I could camp during some of the winter months but those usually end up being busy with my daughters different school activities.
tlhdocWe usually end in late October, but this year the weather was so bad during the first week of Oct. that we winterized and took it to the farm where we store it. Wouldn t you know it the forecast for ths weekend is warm and sunny!![:(]
tlhdocWe live in southern Michigan and we camp all year as long as there is not too much snow and the day time temperature is at least in the higher thirties.I prefer that it is the 40s but will take what we get. We can camp without electricity in the summer but in the winter we only camp with it.
We can go year round. OK, It does get really cold (for SC) in December and January in the mountains, but nothing a furnace and layers can't help. Last year we spent Thanksgiving at Parris Mountain State Park, in the mountainous upstate of SC. They had an unusualy extra cold front coming through so it got down to 31 degrees one night, but it still wasn't that bad for us. Thats about as bad as it gets here! During the day it was much warmer and we hiked and saw waterfalls and were very comfortable.
Here in Ontario we usually end around the Thanksgiving weekend which is in Mid October. This seems to be the date that most CG's close for the season, and the time that any year round provincial parks shut down there services( ie hot water, electric, etc)
Here in Southern California we generally have to stop camping right after Christmas. We aren't normally able to start again until right before New Year's. :D :D :D :D

You have such a short camping season, ;) I think I would move. I don't know about all of the fires though. :(
