Last night I tried this in an 8" Dutch oven and it was too small. I'm going to try this in my 10" Dutch oven. It tasted great.

Angelsmom--

You have some fantastic recipes that you are sharing with us.  Thank You!!  If our grocery stores weren't on strike I would be heading for the store tonite to try this.  I have a bible study tomorrow that this would of been great for.  Oh well, I guess they will have to settle for store bought muffins.

Moose how did it come out in the 10in DO?

I have not done it yet in a 10". I used parchement paper and took it out of the 8". Paula put it in the oven tonight and we warmed it up. Just wish I had some vanilla ice cream. This is a keeper recipe. BTW, I plan to do the pumpkin dump cake in Santa Paula.

I did this recipe in a 10" DO this past weekend. I used parchment paper and cut it 2" larger than the lid. After it was done, next time I will cut it 3"-4" larger than the lid. It was great. We took it out and made for a nice presentation. This is a great recipe.
