Title: One-Pan Spaghetti

One-Pan Spaghetti

  1/2 pounf of very lean ground beef  
  2 cups of water
  2 cups of spaghetti sauce (your choice)
  1/2 cup of chopped onion
  1/4 cup of chopped green pepper
  1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
  1 teaspoon of chopped garlic
  1 teaspoon of oregano
  5 oz of uncooked spaghetti
  2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese

  In a large skillet, combine ground beef, water, spaghetti sauce,
onion, green pepper, chili powder, garlic and oregano.  Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 30 minutes. Stir often.  Add the
spaghetti; simmer, covered, for 30 minutes. Stir often.  Serve with
Parmesan cheese.

My mom used to call this American style spaghetti, We add ketchup while cooking and top with cheddar or montrey jack.

I substitute ground turkey for ground beef.
