This is a BIG PROBLEM as past recipes are lost and they have been the first post. I sure hope they can recover the first posts for ALL forums:W

Every time I've made this at a campground everyone who walks by stops and asks what the wonderful smell is, or what time dinner will be ready! :)

3 lbs chicken pieces
1 package Italian salad dressing mix
4 tablespoons melted butter, divided
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 can cream of chicken soup
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup chicken broth

Place chicken pieces in crockpot and sprinkle Italian salad dressing mix over the chicken. Sprinkle with 2 Tbsp. melted butter. Cook on low for about 6 hours.

Melt 2 Tbsp. butter in a saucepan and saut

I have also had people ask me what smelled so good and for the recipe. Has anyone tried substituting the fat free cream cheese with good results?

I'm sorry I haven't been on the boards lately. I just saw this post for my Cream Cheese chicken and vjm posted it for me. THANKS! :)

I have had more requests for this recipe and yes, it's true, I HAVE met ALOT of people over this recipe. It smells so wonderful cooking that people DO STOP and ask me what that terrific smell is. Of course, we then get to talking and I've met someone new! :)

I'm so glad that everyone is enjoying this as much as I have!

Haven't tried the fat free cream cheese....but then, I thought when you were camping that calories don't count! :J

My recipe is just a little different from Sharon's so if it is her's you're looking for, she has reposted it. :)
