Title: How many???
Post by: tlhdoc on Nov 11, 2003, 11:11 AM
Our Fleetwood/Coleman Nevada can sleep 7 according to the brochure.  We have had 8 people sleep in it at one time, and yes it was planned that way.  How many have you had sleep in your PU at once?

According to the brochures ~ mine can sleep eight.  And it has.  At one MN outing we had the smallest trailer, the biggest family and we were the ones hosting guests! LOL

I'll vouch for that!

Mine says it sleeps 9 and although we usually sleep 5, one time my wife took her Girl Scout troop, there were 9 of them in the trailer.  3 on each king bunk, one on the couch and 2 on the L shaped table bed.

Sleeping more than 2 in the Aliner would be like seeing how many people you can cram into a VW :D..
I've seen some camp with small families in their Aliners, not sure how they do it comfortably tho.

Since you indicated "slept" I had to answer five. How many have I had in the trailer at one time? During a bad storm while staying at Camp Hatteras one Memorial Day Weekend about 3 years ago, we had 11 people huddled up in there. I think all that body weight is the only reason my poor ol trailer didn't get blown over on it's side!!! :D

Ours *sez* nine, but we've only slept five (And one 115 lbs dog. Does that count as six?). While three on the king size bunk is not only possible, but comfortable, the one on the gaucho had better be less than six feet tall. The dinette, on the other hand, is reserved for ooompa-loompas only.

Ten is the most we ever had in our Niagara.
3 adults and 7 kids, all under 10 years old.
That was 4 on each bunk end, 2 adults + 2 kids on one bunk, 1 adult +3 kids on the other and 2 kids on the dinette.

Our In-Laws have an 8 foot Jayco, and they once had 7 adults sleep in it, 2 on each bunk end, 2 on the dinette, and 1 on the floor, never needed the heater that night!!!
