Title: "Pop-Up Night Before Christmas" for 2003
Post by: Ab Diver on Dec 20, 2003, 03:34 PM
To everyone at PUT, here is my fourth rendition of the "Pop-Up Night Before Christmas". As usual, I've changed a couple lines, and added a word or two, but I hope you like it. As many of you know, this time of year is especially busy for me (working in a Brown Truck), so I haven't been visiting the forum much. That's not to say I haven't been thinking of my friends here at PUT. May each of you have a wonderful Holiday, filled with love, family, and friendship. And may the coming New Year be the best yet. Take care, everyone, and Happy Camping!

Merry Christmas from the Ab Diver's! :XMas

You will not believe
this true story, I fear:
'twas a jolly old man,

with eight tiny reindeer.

I never had thought
it could happen this way,
but those eight tired deer

were pulling a sleigh!

He said they had labored
from Cape Town to Nome,
and needed some rest,

before heading home.

He'd noticed my pop-up,
begging pardon to ask,
could they possibly use it,

before ending their task?

"Why sure!", I exclaimed,
"It has plenty of power-
the battery
