Though we usually prefere to camp at State and County Parks,we have camped there, and like it.In fact,we have returned three times. It is a nice, clean park, near the ocean. The friendly staff welcomes pop up campers. This KOA is not near a major highway,so it is quieter than some.Great day trips possible to Monterey Bay Aquarium, the waterfront at Pacific Grove,Santa Cruz area State Parks(redwoods/beaches),Cannery Row,and the Steinbeck Museum. We like site #1(water and electric),and site #'s 97-101 (I believe they have water, elec.,and sewer hook ups-better call to check).Several good sites should be available this time of the year.Have fun.

Sure,
No problem.
We stayed there in August 1999, so I will try to remember as much as I can
We were camping in a borowed 8 foot, 20 year old Jayco popup.
For breakfast we had bacon, eggs and sausages.
For lunch we had turkey sandwiches.
For dinner we had a stew, and the kids had mac & cheese.

If I can be of any more help, just don't hesitate to ask Rojana ;)

Hehe I just posted this in response to someone else that was requesting info on a place to camp near Monterey... so I will just have to post it here too!

This is a well kept KOA that is in between Santa Cruz and Monterey in the town of Watsonville.

I go there every October. Manaresa state Beach is just minutes away. You can ride on vintage steam trains through the redwoods near by in the town of Felton you can even have the train drop you off at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. There is also a large flea-market at the drive-in theater on Saturday

By the way a little inside tip:
If you enjoy fresh seafood and find yourself going through the small town of Moss Landing on your way to Monterey you will want to stop in for lunch or dinner at Phil's Fish Market!

Get the Clam Chowder in a sourdough bread bowl.... Tasty~

I have been to this KOA several times and they go out of their way to please us.  We look foreword to going here since it is well maintained and close to the beach, Santa Cruz, Monterey and other places!
