I have tried a search and have found nothing.  Has anyone been to Atlanta SP in Texas and what did you think about it?

DW and I drove through it several years ago, and we found it to be a very nice park. We're never camped there.

We have camped there and enjoyed it.  It is very nice but for us, from the Dallas area, we have to pass too many other nice parks to get to it.  Although it's nice, I'm not sure it's worth the almost five hours it took us to get there.

Nice park.  I've never camp there although I camp on wright patman often.  My favorite camp ground is Rocky point -  has lots of stuff for the kids( swiming, playground, ect..), lots of sites & most all of them are shaded real nicely.  The sites are well developed & just the right size. Not many water front sites though. Rocky point Really is my favorite place on Wright patman.  Now with that being said, if I have more than a weekend I'll go to another lake.  wright patman isn't bad for fishing, but not very good for swimming & skiing (imho). I prefer Degray, or even lake o' the pines.

 Good luck.
