Title: maybe moving to a hybrid
Post by: campingcop on Feb 13, 2004, 10:17 PM
Went to a RV Camper show today and DW fell in love with the KZ Coyote C20
so she convinced my to put a small deposit on it.  Will not know until monday if my credit will go thru.

That looks great.  I saw a similar one at the NC RV show in Raleigh.

Looks like a really nice step up, Harvey--let us know your progress in getting one home.   :W

The only thing as much fun (and as temptimg)  as  an  RV show is the Detroit Auto Show! :)   It must be the hypnotic  smell of all that "new stuff" filling the air ;)

Hope things work out.. You will enjoy the larger pop OUT...and no more popping up and down to load and unload..

We should be picking up our new Hybrid in about a week!  We can't wait..

We just sold our popup and hope that the new owners enjoy it as much as we have when they pick it up!

The thoughts of not having to setup completely for the night when we are traveling across country and an easy pull in, pull out with a full bath makes a huge difference!

We are planning a trip out west in June/July and this Hybrid is going to make that so much easier!

Good luck on the Hybrid..

That's the same layout as my Trail Cruise C-19!  We LOVE it.  Popping out in stead of popping up is just as much fun!  You still get the feeling of "tenting" it when sleeping -- which I just LOVE!

You'll appreciate all the extra room and not having to pop-up to load for a trip.  I hope it goes through for you!  Good luck!

If you have any questions, I'll be around in the hybrid forum to answer them!

Everything went thru today, but I will not be picking up the camper until the weather here breaks we still have a lot of snow on the ground, and the temp. is to cold to open up the pop up and clean it out.  Should be able to get it some time in March.

Pulling it with my Pathfinder will be close the unloaded weight is 2965lbs.  The tow capacity of the Pathfinder is 5000lbs.

I'll have to change my sig. when I get the Hybrid  :S

We are heading up to the dealership today to do the paperwork and our walkaround.  I am looking forward to bringing it home very soon.

We have sold the popup and am just waiting for them to pick it up.  Now, I have to find a place to store the new Hybrid.

Good luck with your new toy!

You guys really need to stop putting all these hybrid ideas into my DH.  Everytime someone posts another picture or makes a move he talks about how we could afford it.........I must admit they sure are impressive!  But knock it off anyway......We just paid off the Utah!!!!!

My jayco was all paid for but DW fell in love with the hybrid and kept after me until I gave up.

ps I'll have to blame Dee106 for all this DW liked Dee's when she saw it at the 2003 rally. :p
