Where's the 3 week mark? I selected 2 weeks, but actually spent 3 weeks camping during our Yellowstone trip. 7500 miles. I needed to go back to work to rest up!
I spent a little over two weeks in Durango CO and Rocky Mtn NP. After that much time in a little popup my house seemed gigantic when I got home.
I voted long weekend wich was really just Saturday night as I just got it and this was my first trip. It's only march and I'm already camping! It's gonna be a good year :D
just over a month--34 days with 4 teenage girls and 3 Yorkshire Terriers :yikes: I guess we were nuts to do that--trip from Ann Arbor Michigan to Mesa Verde and other places of interest including a one week backpack trip across the Continental Divide through the Uncompaghre Wilderness up between Durango and Silverton. It was a fantastic trip and we all still remember it with much laughter and not a little nostalgia. (We left the dogs in a kennel for the backpack trip :) )
hmmm, with the 7 nights out for the backpack trip, we were NOT in the Skamper for 34 nights consecutively so that leaves us with the time only the 4 of us--and 2 dogs--went to Wyoming, Montana, and Colorado and were gone for only 32 days (ooops, nights)
We drove from Philadelphia to Munice, Indiana to pick up our new-to-us 2003 Coleman Utah. Camped one night in Indiana, then drove up the Lake Michigan coast camping along the way. Stopped in Grand Rapids for 1 1/2 weeks to visit family then took a 3 day trip back east. All with an overloaded minivan! It was good to finally get home, but we had a great time in our "new" popup! We really love it!
This next weekend we're heading to Florida for a 16 day trip to get out of this cold weather, and this Summer we're heading back out west again - this time to Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the Upper Pennisula of Michigan for 3 weeks! Have to try out the new TV - 2008 GMC Savana 3500. Can't wait!
