Today is a good day ! The windstar is paid for as of today ! We made little bit of extra money with the sale of the old house and had to add little bit to it to pay off its debt ! No more monthly payments now ! All we have to worry about is mortgage/insurance/food/utilities now !

After paying the line of credit which went up little bit during the house purchase ....Actually more than enough to buy a PU and we have to deal with it as fast as we can, I hate paying interest !

Such a nice feeling isn't it ? Not having to pay that 202.81 dollars anymore :) (In our case that was what it was) And since we couldn't afford it, I HAD to make enough eBay sales so that I would have that amount as net profit in that account by 25'th of every month ! What a pressure it was ! Now I can sell to pay off the LOC !
I confess I usually made more that 202.81 every month but it is brutal to have to go go go go go all the time ! How many 5 or 10 dollar items you need to sell to make that kind of profit ? hehehe I pulled 1.7 years of it :) And I am a happy camper ! Now if I can do the same for the LOC, maybe after 35 years it will be paid off too :) Or maybe if I got a real job somewhere .....

To be honest I am not looking anymore :( We just don't have any savings left and living day to day .... The bills are hardly paid, the clothing, shoes etc are falling behind .....so I don't think a PU is in the horizon anymore for us. Teh property tax increase for the rental house and the insurance increase was a very nasty surprise to my budget :(
We will just tent ! it is ALL PAID FOR (thanks to CAVMAN) in the ALL PAID FOR Windstar :)

Aw shucks, I thought someone had given you a free popup. ;) :D However, I am glad you are tackling the financing things and making great progress. With tent camping you don't have to worry about having a flat tire on a popup and how many cranks it will take to raise the roof. :p
Yeah I try to take care of the financial part pretty carefully, that is how we lasted so long I guess.
I always pay the interest automatically and make manual payments towards the principal, no matter how little they might be. It is better than spending it on unnecessary things ....
And no one gave m a free PU :) I was offered one (quite some time ago) , but thanks to the mess which is called Canada Customs I missed it because they did not describe the import laws properly :( I still can't get over it :mad:

Never say never and there always is a worse sceneario ... So I want to be prepared for a worse situatioin even when things look gloomy and all.
