Louise has asked me to check and see how many people are actually interested in the canoe trip/evening paddle.
There is a conflict in our schedule and the campgrounds as far as the canoe trip is concerned. Both that and our pot luck dinner are scheduled for 6pm on Saturday. I suggested moving dinner to 5 pm, but Louise thinks that still won't work. She is suggesting we do a lunch, but I'd rather move the time up to 7pm if need be.
So what she needs to know, is how many people are actually interested in the evening canoe trip, cost is $7 per person. Not much for details, all I have on it is here...

It looks like this will not be a problem after all. The Naturalist told me today that the combined water and air temperatures are still too cold for her to do this trip. (She is a certified canoe instructor, and has strict guidelines about these things!)
So it looks like we can leave the pot-luck at 6:00pm and be fine.

Thanks for clearing that up Louise. Next question, what time to you work to on Thursday. It's my hope to get there before you get off for the day, but I'm not 100% sure what time I can get off of work for this... I really want to go over a couple of the reservations with you and make sure what I've got going will work out properly. It may need a little fine tuning with your help...

I've had some problems getting away this week due to work pressures, emergency dental work, etc. I had to change our reservation so that we're arriving Friday and leaving Monday. This was OK with the Reservation Center, but I don't know if it's a problem with the sites.

I will probably be at work Thursday until at least 4:30 or 5:00. Then back in Friday morning at 7:30am. I'm going to make up the reservations that I know, and have the ones that are coming in on Friday ready to post Friday morning.
Another twist....there are 23 sites (coming in today) for a Airstream Group...yep, the old fashioned aluminum tanks...that will be in the pull throughs and middle sites. Should be an interesting weekend!
