2 Tablespoons of something really sweet (sugar, honey, fruit juice concentrate, etc.)
3 Cups of self-rising flour

This sounds great... but I think many of us may drink the beer before using it in the recipe:)
I didn't remove it from the bottom heat as it was cool weather. When you go camping you need at least two bottles of beer for this recipe. Mix one and drink one. I used a dark Mexican beer and it was delicious. I want to try it with a light beer to see how it turns out,

Both my dh and my 3 y/o loved this recipe, especially with the dark modelo beer in it! I'll be trying it on our trip next weekend. :sombraro:
