We SCCers and NNCers have the good fortune and distinct pleasure to have old moose and his wife, young moosette, teaching us the delicious bounty that DO cooking can produce, both through instructional demonstrations and our favorite, their dishes at the Saturday night potluck!  :p (<-- me, licking my lips!!!)

This article reiterates many things that old moose has taught us and also has some additional helpful and interesting info.  Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! I printed this out, and will put it in our DO bag. We have FAR underused our DO. It was a gift from my DW, and we have sorta gotten lazy about some of our campfire meals. We are leaving on a nine day excursion with three cg's on Friday, and I plan to try some DO meals.
