Yesterday morning at 8:30 we were informed that we were fully approved to adopt Milo !
We decided to make a mad rush to Buffalo to get it rather than leave it to the next weekend, and risk that he could be snatched up by someone witha lot of influence.
We got him at 6 pm, he licked us all over !He is sucha good handsome boy ! Made home by 10 pm. He is housetrained ! He did his #1 when I took him out and later asked me to take him out for his #2 ! Such a darling ! We played ewith him from 5 am till 6:30 then ! He started to get tooe xcited and had to go back to his crate :)
So, now we have a camper Chihuahua living amongst us and we love him !

Congrats on your new family member and friend. Milo is a really neat name or him, and I just know that you and the family are going to have a wondreful time with him. And, he's small enough to be very comfy in your new camper.

Congrats, Birol! We have a camping Chihuahua too, and she is the love of our lives. We had to drive a couple hours to get her, in a snowstorm, and we had car problems halfway there, but we came back and got another car because we were afraid that someone else would snatch her up too. I'm so glad we did - she is the best dog. A little noisy, but very, very sweet. And we have a Milo too - our Chihuahua is named Juju, but our Boston Terrier is named Milo - he's a great doggie too. They both brought their names with them when we adopted them. Now you'll have to get some heated mattress pads to keep your Milo nice and comfy inside the popup when it's chilly out!
WTG on your new fur baby. I'll just bet you will have many happy hours with Milo. Now he might need a play mate called Stitch.:)

Chihuahuas make great camping dogs once you have trained them not to be yappy. We have another one, a male that is 8 months old, still working on the yappiness.

Here is my Daisy dog. We wouldn't camp with out her. AAMF she gets nervous and follows me like a shadow when the food camp box comes out. She wants to make sure we don't forget her....like we could do that.
I know you'll have a wonderful camp time with her. Now you will have to buy your camper a set of dog bowls, toys, a tether rope, and a blankie. We keep these in the camper for Daisy.

When we first married, we got a white Chihuahua with some black and tan spots--named him Popocateptl (try to say that 3 times fast! ;)
We called him Popo. (Popocatepetl is an Aztec word--the name of a Mexican mountain/volcano) What a sweet, funny little guy--he rode on our shoulders and was so small as a puppy I used to take him to the movies in my purse.
Our dog now is big and shaggy and very black. Shadow. A perfect farm dog. He chases rabbits bigger than Popo was :J
