Title: Beer In Aluminum Bottles
Post by: angelsmom10 on Aug 25, 2004, 10:35 AM
Came across this article and sounds interesting.. have never seen, nor had this brand, but keeping the beer colder sounds like a winner.

I heard about this on the news today. I don't see any advantages , except the shape. I prefer beer in a glass bottle.

IMO- Aluminum cans stack much better in coolers. What about all of the various agencies who save the tabs from cans, now are they going to want the caps from these bottles.  :eyecrazy:

An aluminum bottle isn't going to change the way that stuff tastes,  when you put crap in,  your going to get crap out,  no matter what you package it in.

They could put that stuff in the little felt bags (a la Crown Royal) and it would still be nasty.

I thought that Aluminum wsa one of the main causes of Alzheimers ? besides it gives a taste to the beer, I had rather have it (well I used to) in glass bottles.
