when you camp in the cooler weather what do you like wearing?

I have a big old red/black buffalo plaid wool heavy shirt that my grandfather used to wear. He kept it on a hook just inside the back door of his house. After he died we cleaned out a good portion of his house. The last thing I did before I left was to take that jacket off the hook and wear it home. It has kept me warm and comforted since then ~ 13 years.

Only one choice?? I voted shorts, because that's what I wear when camping...even if it get's down into the 50's... Now I wear a sweat shirt if it gets into the 50's. Long pants don't come out until temps get down to the 40
I did not vote, but I want to see the campground where people are only wearing one article of clothing when camping in the fall. :yikes: :) :D I wear tops and bottoms when camping, no matter what time of year.
Shorts! Unless it's below 40 degrees! Even then if it's sunny, it's shorts! Because here in Vermont, it's sometimes below 40 at night in July and August!
I wear my PopUpTimes denim long sleeve shirt, of course!

Polar Fleece or micro fleece...I like the soft stuff! :> This is my very favorite time of year. I love being able to put away my shorts and pull out the cozy clothes. Just wish I wasn't missing the whole camping season! I may have to have a little campfire in my portable firepit in the backyard this weekend! LOL
yes, polar fleece, the best!! Soft and comfy, and sweatshirts, and flannel jammies, and thick socks with moccasins, and.....well, all of the above, I guess.
