Title: Chocoholic's Cake
Post by: oldmoose on Jan 17, 2005, 05:53 PM
Here's the recipe that I did this past weekend. I use parchement paper to line the Dutch oven. That way I can take the cake out and frost it all around. You can also leave it in the oven and have more frosting on top.

Moose, as usual this sounds fabulous.  I will print it and add to my recipe binder

OH!  My favorite ... a low-cal chocolate cake!

I don't have a DO, but I'm gonna try this one at home!  My mouth is watering already ....

Kelly, this recipe fills a 12" dutch oven almost 3/4's full. Not sure how many layers it'd make if done in pans. Either way it'll be yummy.

I got a bite of Moose's cake at the Beach Dutch Oven Gathering this past weekend.  It was to die for.  Thanks Moose for the recipe, I am going to try it.

I don't think I've ever had anything bad out of Moose's black pots. :D
