I was surfing around last night and found a press release from Fleetwood on 6/13/05 that said they have just introduced three new hybrid lines: the Orbit, the Pegasus (same as the Orbit but with different decor choices), and the Resort TNT.
Although we wished they offered a floor plan like the Starcraft Travelstar 21SB--our absolute favorite!--what we love about them (at first glance anyway) is that the interior height is 80"--crucial when your DH is 6'5"--or as we say "just too darn big for his own good!" :D

I like the 240 xps its a lot like mine...I wish I had all those wardrobes tho...but I do have the garage in the back

We have gone over to the dark side...We just purchased a 2003 wonderer..27 ft. it is model # 231 DT..it has two popouts and l slide..it also has the three wardrobes...its so big... can't wait to pick it up this weekend. I'm going to have my own bathroom with warm water...
I figured it was only a matter of time until Fleetwood came out with hybrids. Has anyone seen them yet? I'm trying to figure out the differences between the 3 lines, they have similar floorplans. I assume it's just the trim level?

I had nothing better to do for lunch on Monday so I drove to the closest delaership that carried the Orbit series. They only had one model (the 190XP) on the lot. When I asked a salesman when they were going to get the other models (specifically, the 240XP that I am interested in), he said that Fleetwood has only made the 190XP. The other models are still just design concepts and are being tested by Fleetwood. He couldn't tell me if or when they would finally reach the retail market.
Um, okay, assuming that the salesman has his info correct, does it sound crazy to anyone else here that they would include "concept models" in the brochures? Granted, upon closer inspection, I did notice that only the 190XP and the 260XP have prices (the 200XP and 240XP don't list any suggested price) so maybe the 260XP is on its way to market, but it still seems weird to me that Fleetwood would go to the trouble and expense of publishing brochures that included models that may not ever hit market.
BTW, to answer your question 4campinfoxes, the Pegasus and Orbit hybrid lines are exactly the same in every way with the exception of the fabric used. :)

This is a link to the Resort EXT brand TTs (not tented bunk end style hybrid), and this particular model has the rear queen slide. The Resort hybrid line line is designated as TNT (as compared to EXT) and IMHO, is not appointed as nicely as the Orbit and Pegasus lines. It's still fun to look at pictures of campers and dream, though. :)

The only difference between the Orbit and Pegasus is the color schemes inside and out. Other than that they are exactly the same. None of the dealers here in Phoenix have them. The Resort Hybrid is ok but much heavier. Barizona

Are you and Dave okay with the beds being doubles? That would be downsizing, wouldn't it? That's something I've noticed in my research -- the trailers will appear to have similar floor plans, but when I look at the bed size, many of them have smaller beds.

ours has 2 doubles and a good size queen
