Hey all,

My kids & I have been in the Y-Adventure Guides ( formerly Y-Indian Guides ) for almost 10 years now - For those who don't know we are a parent / child group that does alot of camping! along with tons of other fun stuff.
We are having our Annual Recruitment - Swimparty soon and wanted to invite everyone who was interested to come and have a good time.

Event: Chandler YMCA Adventure Guides Swmparty
When: Sunday, August 21st. from 5-8PM
Where: Chandler YMCA @ 1655 W. Frye, Chandler, AZ

For more info on the programs:

Other programs are avail. if there is enough interest ( mother-child, etc)

That sounds like alot of fun. One of our camping does the adventure Princesses with his daughter. I thought, I'd love to that with my 9 yr old daughter too. I checked with the YMCA in my area and they said they used to have it but they don't offer it anymore. What is this world coming to when they delete things that get family together? The depressing part is we moved here 8 months ago from Gilbert, Az where we could have done it.

Hey there,

You might check with other Y's that are close - Ca. has one of the biggest programs in the country. Also ask about the TRAILMATES program - it is part of the Adventure Guides / Princesses but is for the older girls & dads. My daughter and I are going to be transitioning to the Trailmates this season - doing both programs - She loves to go camping and the trailmates do more local stuff while the Princesses do more campouts. Good luck and I hope you find a program out there in CA.

For everyone else -- The Chandler YMCA Adventure Guides program covers Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Apache Junction, and Tempe. We even have members that live in Anthem, and Globe...

Thanks to all who came to the swimparty!!!!

There was plenty of food & drinks for all - Everyone had a great time!!
