Title: Itasca SP, MN
Post by: AustinBoston on Nov 02, 2005, 08:40 PM
I'm trying to do some advance legwork for next year.  We are thinking of spending a week in the Itasca SP area.

For those of you that have seen both, do you prefer Bear Paw campground or Pine Ridge campground?

Hey, AB ~ sorry to ruin your thread kill average .... somehow I missed this thread.

Haven't been to Itasca since I was a kid, but I have been looking into spending some time there.  From what I've heard ~ the best sites are at the southern end of the Pine Ridge Campground ~ in the Oak Loop.  Sites 122 to 132 ~ inside the loop if you want hookups.

Let me know when you're thinking about going ... maybe the kids and I can horn in.   :D
