That's a hard one to choose...We only really plan two...one big one in the spring and one big one in the fall. We normally go every three day weekend or holiday.  Most of our trips are last minute decisions, but we try to get out as often as we can as soon as the weather cooperates!

I'm drawing a distinction between *plan* and *hope for*.  I think we'd like at least one, and maybe two, 10-day trips and 5 weekend trips, but beyond me mentioning (again) that I'd like to see Minnesota's Itasca SP, we haven't even talked about it.

Planning is when you open the calendar, pencil in dates, try to make reservations, etc. and we have done none of that yet.

Have only two "planned" ~ reservations made for The Black Hills in mid-July.

The second is the last weekend in June with a group from MN ~ Itasca seems to be the first choice.  We'll decide in February.  Shall I keep you updated, AB?  You're definitely welcome to join us!

The rest will happen as the season progresses ... hoping for about the same amount of weekend trips as AB.

I count a potential 63 nights in that - I only had one summer that came close, and that summer had a trip that lasted 8 weeks and covered 13,000  miles!

Have fun, I am jealous.  :)

We have reservations for 8 wknds, 3-5 days, at our usual cg. and working on dates for seeing 2 of our dgc in GA, seeing friends in TX & NM, also seeing a friend in OK, camping with internet friends from Ohio-meeting in Indiana, 3 trips to Branson, one trip to Bennet Springs, MO, also hope to get in at least one wknd in Springfield, IL, have another cg that is very close that we usualy go to a couple times and have at least 2 new cgs we want to try this year.  I don't know how many ngts that will add up to but hopefully we beat 2005 record of approx. 50 ngts.  I just told DH we really need to play and win the lottery as we simply don't have time for him to work.  LOL  Happy Camping!

I feel the same way.  If I could win the lottery and not have to work I could really go camping.:)

2 biggies - Grand Canyon with two days in Arches last week in may (reservations made) and Glacier first week in Sept.  That will take more days on the road than in the park... It's a long way from Kansas...

Hoping for lots of weekenders...
