Title: Bunkend covers
Post by: PLJ on Apr 24, 2006, 04:06 PM
A question about the Popup gizmos bunkend covers. Do these stay permanently attached to the bunk ends or is another setup/takedown item on the ever growing list  :p

They are made to specifically fit your bunkends and I believe they are attached with clips.   We don't have those.  We got our solar covers/blankets from Cabellas and attach them with those black clips that have the little slide on them.  They work great also.

Someone else who has that specific type can probably answer with more knowledge.

The Popupgizmos are also attached with clips.  If I remember right we received some clips with our gizmos.  Than my dh went out and purchased a few more at Home Depot.  This is a great product that we highly recommend.  Besides helping with the heat, they also keep the canvas clean.  They do not attach permantly, you must put them on every time you setup.  We fold them up and place them under our mattress (one on each end)

Yes.   :D

Check out this site for one idea for attaching them with Velcro.   Then you wouldn't have to do them every time.  They really don't add that much time to setup/takedown ~ as long as you remember to put them on before you crank the roof up all the way and can't reach anything anymore!

Another great thing about them, no matter what kind you get, is that if it rains, you don't have to worry about drying out the bunkend either before or after you leave because they stay dry.  AND, a large factor is that they can make a 10 degree difference cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
