Does anyone know how to make a easy lo mein with ramen noodles? My brother used to make one when we went camping before he passed away suddenly last year while camping....and I just can't make it taste like he did...
Thanks, Chris

You can use the chicken ramen noodles, add some soy sauce, a little sesame oil (just a little) add some shredded cabbage, shredded carrot, onion and chopped green onions and a bit of garlic and ginger. Lightly saute all the veggies and then toss in the already made noodles...........Chef Grizzlytaco
If you are not going to use the flavoring packet, you can use any of the ramen noodles. I gotta try GT's recipe.
I like to cook the noodles, drain the water and then sprinkle 1/2-3/4 of the flavor packet in. (Can get a little salty if you use the whole packet). I like the original flavor for this one.
DW and I ate lots of ramen noodles when we were young and poor. Amazing what you can mix with the soup and call it dinner...

That hilarious!! DW and I factored in the cost of ramen noodle dinner at least twice a week so that we could afford our first mortgage when we were just starting out! :D

That's too cool. I still like chunked hot dogs and chopped onions: Make the water boil, add hot dogs, onions and the noodles. Boil for three minutes. Again, original flavor ramen.
DW's mother is Japanese, so the ramen thing comes natural to her. I had never heard of Ramen Noodles until we met.
Must have worked. That was over 35 years ago. :D
THANKS for the ideas!!! Will have to try them all!
