We just went here last weekend and wow what a place, some sites are right next to each other, but it's because you are literally right on the creek, incredible...CLEAN bathrooms, outhouse even had a REAL toilet in it....the people are great, just overall great place,

I'm glad to see a good report on Chalk Creek...It is on our list of campgrounds to try. Was it crowded? (Do you own the campground?  ;) Just kidding!)

I know what you mean...we  used to want to own a campground. Did some research and figured it would be best to let someone else own one so we could camp in it. Can't enjoy it much when you have to work in it every day. Some folks are called to do that though...sure glad they are!

Got one camping day left in September. Sounds like a good way to end the official camping season.

How do you like your Cobalt?  We have 19 nights in ours since March 11, our Cobalt's first day as member of our family.
