Title: Looking for Central MN Campground
Post by: Mr. Nailz on Jun 28, 2006, 04:40 PM
We are trying to find place to go the last weekend in July.  Any suggestions?  We tried Breeze last year and that was nice, just want to try something different.  Would like a beach and possibly a pool for the kiddies.  Other then that not many requierments.  Thanks in advance.

Bunker Hills campground in Ham Lake (about 20 miles north of Minneapolis) doesn't have a true beach (even though they call it "Bunker Beach"), but the park it is in has what amounts to a small water park, including a wave tank, kiddie pool, water slides, and more.  The park has horesback riding and bike trails as well.

I don't think campground space includes the co$t of the beach.
