The box is well made and easy to install. I originally thought that I may have to do a lot of reinforcing because these boxes are usually pretty flimsy and prone to warping.
This box was engineered with lots of bends in the mold which add strength and discourage warping.
It's not real big (which is what I wanted). It holds my 2- 29 series batteries, water hose, battery charger, inverter and top lift drill motor. That's all that I wanted it for. As you can see, one propane tank mounts nicely in front of the box, out of the way of the tongue jack handle.

I just ran 3- 1"x2" strips of mahogany, crossways and ran lag bolts though the box and wood, into the top of the frame. Pretty simple. It isn't going anywhere.

Looks good. Might want to think about bagging some of the items stored in there with the batteries. The outgassing from charging can make quite a mess.
I little trick I learned a long time ago was to put a dab of vaseline on a penny and stick it to the top of the battery between the vents. The corrosion will form on the copper before anything else and when it does, replace the penny.

They only gas while charging and I don't charge while towing. The nice thing is, I can leave the box open while I'm charging the batteries. That should limit the corrosion.

Good luck. The tounge of the trailer is the highest stressed part of the frame, hole in the flange is a good way to weaken steel.
I would have made a angle braket and bolted to the side of the frame.

It might be a good idea to make sure it's an older penny (pre-1982) , because they are made mostly of zinc today instead of cooper, and a zinc penny might give a different result.
