Title: Florida Caverns SP
Post by: mjdfarm on Feb 23, 2007, 01:04 PM
Just got back from Florida Caverns SP last weekend.  Great park although small campground.  The cavern tour was excellent.  If you have a canoe bring it although rentals are available.  If you are out west of Tallahassee this is a good place to check out.  Clean restrooms.

We live about 20 mins from this State Park, have been on the cave tours, picnic, swimming, school trips, etc., but never camped here.  We may try a weekend trip now that you brought it to our minds!  Thanks.

We stayed on lot 24.  This was a great site if its available.  Any of the sites on this side were nice.  They back up to a creek and 24 was right across from the restrooms.  (close but not too close)  Hope this helps...
