Well, we have finally decided to purchase a new to us hybrid. We have our five plus at least one "spare" on every trip, and we have finally outgrown our beloved '86 Coleman Savannah pop up.
We want a less than 6,000lb hybrid that sleeps up to eight(not small kids either), has a big enough bathroom to actually use, as well as enough storage room and a open floor plan (the DH isn't officialy claustrophic, but REALLY craves openess). Oh did I mention on a budget of 10,000 or less?
Anyway, we are looking at two hybrids right now; a 2001 Starcraft Travelstar 23RBS and a 2004 Four Winds Express 23T. Price is really close, we like both, but can't find the specs on the different beds sizes, etc and really don't want to drive the 2+ hours to the 2 different locations until we get a feel for them. Does anyone have any experience with either, good or bad?
Hope someone has some wisdom to share. I tend to lurk rather than post, but I really love and depend on info from from here!
Almost 2 years have gone by & we are STILL "shopping" for a hybrid. Costs have only escalated down SOUTH in AL. We do have adequate tow vehicle '03 Tundra with V8. Have begun looking for a used hybrid in good condition -- next to impossible here too. Ones we have found have had LEAKS! ALL posts have been helpful.
