Title: Topsail Hill SP
Post by: castropjes on Mar 24, 2007, 09:51 AM
Has any camped with a PU at Topsail Hill State Park in FL? It seems to be a big RV campground with paved sites (which might be nice) and 50AMP. No grills or ground fire pits from what I can see but looks like a lot of bike riding opportunity. I'm hoping it is not a "we don't like pop-ups" kind of place. Thanks!   :)

I haven't, but it must be really nice as it stays booked up all the time.  I have lots of friends that have stayed there in PUPs and they all love the place. See threads below.[/SIZE]

We camped there last summer and loved it!  There are lots of pop ups there and we did not feel out of place.  However, some sites are a long walk from the bathhouse so check the park map on line before you book.  Sites 1-7 or 8 (the ones right as you come into the park) are very small and there is a lot of traffic there.  You can bike all over the place, the pool is great, and there is a trolley to the beach.  We loved it so much that we came home last summer and booked a trip for this summer as soon as we could.

Thanks for the info!  Do they allow campfires/have outdoor grills?  Thanks!

From what I remember, campfires are not allowed but I do believe they have outdoor grills.
