Title: Pro's And Con's On R-vision Bantam Hybrids
Post by: Jamesdad on Apr 12, 2007, 11:45 PM
I am in the market for a hybrid and have been looking at the r-vision recently. any pro's and con's out there regarding this make and model? They are very lite weight, does that mean cheaply made? Need some insight.  Thanks.

I recently sold mine and the only issue I noticed was I needed to keep a dehumidifier (a small electric one) in the front storage compartment to keep condensation out. Any moisture makes me worry.  Other than that it was very easy to set up and as long as it's taken care of should remain looking good (mine was a 2000 and still looked new) Good luck :! .

Thx Diane,

They are a nice looking trailer. I will keep it in my mind about the condensation if I  buy this model.

R-vision products are generally not regarded too well. They seem to have numerous design and construction related issues. And the customer support from the factory doesn't sound as though it's all that good. Kinda like Fleetwood, actually. :D

You might find some additional replies by posting on //www.rv.net, //www.hybridexplorer.com or the "hybrid" section of //www.popupexplorer.com. There's also an R-vision only website at //www.r-visioncamping.org

Thanks for the info. Better to ask now than to find out after its too late.
