Title: outside stove
Post by: Jestercat on Jun 09, 2007, 09:40 PM
Hello everyone....

We bought our first PU today, a 2003 Palomino Yearling RL.  One of the modifications the previous owner made was to remove the two hooks/screws/brackets that the in/out stove hangs on the outside sidewall.

He replaced these with an extruded aluminum rail for some sort of aftermarket grill/stove top he was using.  Unfortunately we didn't get the aftermarket stove in the deal, and the original stove top doesn't ahng on the rail.

Can anyone tell me the following:

1.  Most late model on/out stoves we've seen seem to use this aluminum channel.  Is it standard mounting for most stoves??

2.  What different brands of stoves have this kind of mount?

3.  If your's is aftermarket and mounts this way, what kind is yours and where did you get it??

Thanks in advance....

Welcome!

Sounds like you could just call the manufacturer and order up the bracket/channel/whatever, that should be on the side of the trailer and you'll be right back in business.....simple and cheap.

I am also looking for that channel. Any source would probably be cheaper than an RV dealer..Any Ideas?....
