Title: Weatherseal groove on door is broken

Just signed up for this forum and this is my first post.  I searched this forum for my same problem and could not find any relevant posts.  I have a 1990 Coleman PU.  The weatherstrip groove on the door is broken.  It is a plastic extrusion that is riveted on either side of the door and the rubber weatherstrip on the canvas tucks into this groove.  I was hoping that someone might have some advise as to how I can go about fixing or replacing this plastic part.  I am taking the family to Fort Bragg over this 4th of July week and it

Just got the answer.  I called the local dealer and the part I need is off the shelf for $18.00.  I might as well buy the new one and rivet it on.  It'll give me something to mess around with while camping.

I had the same problem, I just drilled a hole and used a sheet metal screw, it was cheap   :)
