Camping this weekend I had this gem parked beside me. A younger fellow (25ish) had restored it and had it out enjoying it. Of interest, the canopy is the top of the trailer for traveling.
That is a beauty, thanks for posting the pics.
The road-cover on the canvas models doing double duty as an awning was a feature on the smaller models too.

Boy, did these pictures bring back many fond memories! Growing up, my family had a Cox Camper just like this (sorry, don't know the model year). It always reminded me of a mushroom!!
I grew up camping with my family (mom, dad, sister) and now get the joy of camping with my own son. Oddly enough, DH & I have an almost vintage camper that is also a soft-top. I guess that is just what I am used to!
