Title: What to know before buying a new canvas???

We just got a 1993 Jayco 1208 and it needs a new canvas.  I have looked online and there is a lot to consider.  Any tips would be appreciated.  Thanks.

I know of 2 companies that custom build PU camper canvas replacements:

There may be more, I don't know.

Were you thinking of sewing your own?

We used Canvas Replacements a few years ago when we replaced the canvas on our 1984 Coleman.  All they needed was the manufacturer, year and model.  It was far easier than I thought it was going to be.

We did the same thing earlier this year with Canvas Replacements for our Jayco. They got the canvas directly from Jayco, so it is OEM, so to speak. Looks great and works great!
